This professional Replacement cartridge for BIG bilge pump filter is equipped with a powerful oil and chemical binder for absorbing oils and chemicals. The special properties of this material ensure that all of these and other hydrophobic liquids are permanently bound.

The filter cartridge filters oil, petrol or diesel from the bilge water and uses a material developed in Germany which, due to its properties, attracts oil molecules and binds them permanently in the cartridge. This filter cartridge meets the requirements for oil binders according to the DEKRA test report in terms of oil binding and holding capacity (100 g of filter material binds 0.655 litres of oil). It has a Capacity of about 1600 g , which is the average amount of oil in approx. 40,000 liters of bilge water / bilge water corresponds.

Proper disposal

The oil separator filter cartridge Absorbs up to six times its own weight in oils and retains them permanently. Used filter cartridges must be disposed of properly as oil-contaminated waste.
