The Carbonit WFP Premium filter cartridge is a sintered activated carbon block filter with special dimensions. It can only be used in Carbonit QUADRO 60 filter systems. This sintered activated carbon block filter focuses on the chemical-physical removal and simple mechanical particle retention of undesirable ingredients in drinking water. The aim is not to create a bacteriological barrier through the finest filter pores, as large quantities of water must be processed in a short space of time. The filter cartridge must be changed after 6 months (according to DIN 1988). In principle, 10,000 liters of water can be filtered within 6 months. However, an earlier change may be necessary if the water flow is noticeably reduced. An early change is not a defect in the filter used, but an indication of an increased occurrence of fine particles in the unfiltered water. Filter fineness of the Carbonit WFP Select filter cartridge: 450 nm 4 Carbonit WFP Premium filter cartridges are always required for a QUADRO filter change!
