Carbonit filter cartridge NFP special 20 inch water filter

In order to remove the contamination of drinking water from the house pipes, such as lead or copper, we recommend using the drinking water cartridge NFP Spezial 20. Due to the high performance spectrum in the event of possible drinking water contamination and the excellent hygienic properties, this filter cartridge NFP Spezial 20 is used in almost all CARBONIT ® drinking water filters.

• High protection against bacteria (NFP Premium only), heavy metals, pesticides, polar pesticides and drug residues.
• This filter cartridge combines the well-known adsorptive powers of sintered activated carbon (e.g. pesticides) with mechanical filtration (e.g. bacteria).
• A storage period of 6 months is recommended throughout Europe.

In addition to the DIN 1988 specifications, the epdwa guidelines, the HKI recommendations and the findings of various DIN specifications (NAL LH/AK HW 0029) and DIN EN 14898 as well as the DVGW worksheet W 513 must be taken into account. In principle, 10,000 liters of water may be filtered within 6 months. However, an earlier change may be necessary if the water flow is noticeably reduced. An early change is not a defect in the filter used, but an indication of an increased occurrence of fine particles in the unfiltered water. Expert reports show that with proper use, there is no evidence of germs contamination or rupture of the filter cartridge (chromatography effect). Warnings For technical reasons, use is only permitted with cold water; protect against frost. Recommended filter change every 6 months. Filter cartridges are wearing parts.
