The bluAqua Iron filter Cartridge lowers the iron concentration, reduces the hydrogen sulfide content, the metallic taste and the smell of the water.

The FE² dissolved in the water is converted to FE³ and removed from the water by the filter. The filter uses hydrogen sulphide to do this, in which Fe² is oxidised to Fe³.

Water with too high an iron content is the main cause of wear and tear on industrial equipment and household appliances due to the build-up of so-called "scale". Iron salts damage textiles washed in such water and irritate the skin. In addition, too high an iron content in the water results in the formation of rust marks on sanitary facilities.

• Working temperature 2 - 45 degrees
• Iron filter cartridge increases the pH value and reduces the concentration of iron and manganese in the water
• Reduction of the following substances:
  • Iron (if the load of the unfiltered water does not exceed 4.0 mg/l)
  • Manganese (if the contamination of unfiltered water does not exceed 0.1 mg/l)
  • Sulfite (if the load of the unfiltered water does not exceed 0.9 mg/l)
  • Oxide (if the load of the unfiltered water does not exceed 4.0 mg/l)
  • Chloride (if the load of the unfiltered water does not exceed 4.8 mg/l)
  • Silicates (if the load of the unfiltered water does not exceed 35.0 mg/l)
• Service life: Depending on the load of the unfiltered water and flow rate approx. 3-6 months
• Recommended flow rate at approx. 3 bar pressure / 10,000 l/h.
